Kelley grew up in Batavia, Illinois and attended Batavia High School. She went on to attend St. Norbert College and Valparaiso Law School in Indiana, graduating in 2011. She started her career at the Kane County State's Attorney's Office prosecuting all types of cases from traffic offenses to very serious felony offenses. Kelley gained significant experience in trial practice. In 2014, Kelley was honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving with the Hero Award for her tenacious prosecution of DUI cases. After prosecuting for over 6 years, Kelley went into private practice focusing on criminal defense and residential real estate. Starting her own law firm in 2021, she now focuses primarily on residential and commercial real estate, estate planning and other civil matters.

Kelley and her husband are proud parents and spend their free time with their family and friends. Kelley supports multiple local charities focusing on homelessness and domestic violence.

Kelley is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association. Kelley is also a certified mediator. She works closely with the Women's Counsel of Realtors in Fox Valley and the Realtors Association of Fox Valley.
